Don't buy it

I purchased this vehicle in early March of this year, had it three weeks and the transmission went out. It has reoccurring transmission issues even after it'due south claimed to be fixed. I owned the titanium version and I loved all of the features. I was so sad to see it be such a bad automobile.

Love the auto...figure out the transmission!!

This is the 3rd Focus I take owned. i was very familiar with manual recalls but was willing to buy because so far prev vehs had been repaired. why at present aren't both parts of transmission included in add-on warranty! Evidently i missed the fine impress somewhere. THE CLUTCH STILL FAILS AND IS A SAFETY Consequence!! And dealer won't fix it nether warranty.

Good little car. No complaints at all.

Worked for me. Get'southward good gas mileage (32-36), adequately nice ride, nice interior layout, handles well. This model had a transmission issue but a replacement of the transmission control module seems to have fixed the issue. I've had it for a couple of years without whatsoever other issues and accept taken it on trips from Seattle to Medford in a single solar day and it wasn't bad at all. Overall, pretty good auto.

Class Action Lawsuit; FORD FOCUS HAS A Pattern FLAW

I wouldn't take bought this if i knew since 2012 there was a known issue. Internal emails were discovered in the investigation that the engineer team knew there was a trouble, but Ford went ahead with the release and thus began the lies. How can someone in good conscience do this??? I don't know, merely here's my story about my latest happening.. And then, Ford's Focus line has a problem they cannot fix. At that place was a form action lawsuit and Ford had to pay damages. Function of this was the clutch was warranty extended to 100,000 miles. Well, mine went out at 9x,000. lucky me, right. Well they replaced the clutch and it was OK for a trivial bit, then I got stranded when the motorcar broke downward and wouldn't move. I paid to tow to the dealer, which had done the clutch replacement, knowing that my clutch had once again gone out. My mileage is now however in the 90k'due south. Diagnosis determined a bearing seized upward and took out the clutch and shift forks with it. JC Ford Lincoln is refusing to warranty this, and wants merely under $2000 to repair. I only put perchance g miles on the new clutch earlier it went out. I've had many many bad experiences with this shop, just this is the first I was driven to write a bad review, considering this has all gone too far. Stay away if you lot know whats all-time! They demand to own up to their bad work. What, it's merely a big coincidence correct? Yeah, I bet.. sounds similar fraud to me..
